The new SunAssist Meals on Wheels kitchen has been officially opened.
The local organisation made around 35-thousand meals last year, and provided six-thousand community meals for the elderly and disabled to promote social connection.
Member for Mildura Jade Benham helped cut the ribbon for the facility, paying tribute to the almost 300 volunteers.

The local MP says the community is incredibly lucky to have this organisation in our region, and has announced that her office will be part of the Meals on Wheels roster in the immediate future.
