Mildura mayor Liam Wood has welcomed Bonza Airlines coming to the city.
The low-cost carrier announced last week it was cleared for take-off, although it’s not known yet when it’ll start flying between Mildura and the Sunshine Coast.
Councillor Wood says it’s a massive boost for the region.

Bonza originally planned to have flights in and out of Mildura from September, 2022.
The Civil Aviation Safety Authority Air Operator’s Certificate was issued to Bonza last Thursday.
