The Matildas are on the verge of making history, and Mildura Rural City Council are asking the community to get together and support the national team. They are asking residents to head down to the Mildura Sporting Precinct tonight to cheer them on to victory in the World Cup semi-finals against England.
It is a free family event, with gates to open at 6.30pm for an 8pm kick-off.
They are encouraging people to go dressed in green and gold, take your own chairs, blankets and rugs and have a kick on the oval.

Food and coffee will be available, or you can take your own.
Just a reminder that there is no alcohol, smoking or vaping permitted.
