Federal Member for Mallee, MP Anne Webster, has joined Mallee farmers and Nationals Leader David Littleproud MP on Victorian Parliament steps yesterday to protest the current Dan Andrews Government’s Transmission Plan.
The local MP says the Mallee is not a dumping ground for bad policy.
“Transmission projects such as VNI West and the Western Renewables Link must not compromise prime farmland and pristine native bush land and stymie the livelihoods of Australia’s producers.” she says.

Almost 50 tractors were in the streets around Victorian Parliament House, with two hundred standing in solidarity.
Dr. Webster has thanked the work of several people for their time and effort to see the protest become a reality.
