Police are again warning locals NOT to trust phone calls from people claiming to be bank investigators.
A person from Swan Hill received calls last Thursday afternoon from scammers claiming to be from a bank, saying they were investigating fraud and needed the victim’s help to catch the wrong doer.
They managed to convince the victim to transfer cash.

Officers say if there is a bank-related matter it’s best to go into a branch or use a legitimate phone number.
