A man has lost his licence for a year after being caught more than three-times the blood alcohol limit.

Police were called to a single vehicle accident on the corner of Eleventh Street and Etiwanda Avenue on the weekend, finding a 64-year-old man inside his car.

He was taken back to the police station where he allegedly blew point-one-five-two.

He’s expected to be charged on summons.

Also a man has been caught more than 20kmh over the speed limit.

The 49-year-old driver was allegedly clocked at 82kmh in a 60 zone in Mildura on Friday night.

He lost three demerit points and was fined three-hundred and seventy-dollars.

Meanwhile a woman has had her car impounded and is facing charges after being found driving on a learner’s permit without an accompanying driver.

The 30-year-old was intercepted by Mildura Police on Sunday night.

Police say the woman also had two-small children in the vehicle with her.
