The Mildura Speedway Drivers Club has missed out on Victorian funding for upgrades to the Timmis Speedway track.
The club says it’s disappointed the application it considered very strong for money through the Regional Infrastructure Fund was knocked back.
It’s working on the catch fence to allow the track to be operational as soon as possible, while exploring funding options for the lighting.

The club says it’s also working with Mildura Council on other options.
