Locals on the river side of Cootamundra Avenue and lower reaches of Edey Road at Karadoc are still being told it’s not safe to return.
A Watch and act message remains in place for the area due to flood waters, where many homes are inundated or isolated.
And authorities are also telling locals it’s not safe to return at Iraak Island with Rudds Road remaining closed.
There is also an Emergency Warning is for parts of Mildura, Nichols Point and Bruces Bend including Etiwanda Avenue Extension, Benetook Avenue Extension, Cowra Avenue and Cureton Avenue East. Nichols Point, Bruces Bend and surrounding areas including River Boulevard, Park Road, Park Lane, Loop Road, Billabong Road, Pate Street, Irymple Avenue Extension, First Street and Keating Avenue.
The Murray River at Mildura Weir is still expected to peak around 21-22 December, with moderate flooding. A prolonged peak is possible through to late December.
The Murray River at Wentworth is expected to peak around late December (25-26 December), with major flooding. A prolonged peak is possible through to early January.
Meanwhile, six people have been evacuated from the Riverbend Caravan Park in Renmark.
The SES says an evacuation order has been issued due to a possible levee failure in the Riverland town.
It says the park is now closed until further notice while regular patrols will be conducted in the area.
An emergency relief centre has been set up in Berri.
