Authorities are continuing to monitor the flooding situation along the Murray River.
They’ve been carrying out aerial observations each day, identifying potential impact areas and undertaking assessments along the river in the Swan Hill municipality.
A Watch and Act remains in place for the river between Swan Hill and Wentworth, with areas already reaching the moderate flood levels.
Locals in Robinvale and Euston were filling sandbags yesterday for those who needed them.
Meanwhile Mildura Council staff have been preparing for rising river levels along the riverfront including removing shipping containers and decommissioning services at the Nowingi Place stage.
The fencing at the ornamental lakes and off-leash dog-park have also been removed to protect it from floodwaters and any potential damage.
Hugh King Drive has been closed from the Mildura Wharf carpark to the boat ramp turning circle.
The Wharf carpark remains accessible.
