Glenn Milne has announced he’s running as an independent for the Victorian seat of Mildura at this month’s election.
He’s taken a leave of absence from the council to run.
He says he’s frustrated at the lack of funding the region has received from the State Government.

Mr Milne also says the railway line needs to be fixed to give locals services that people in Melbourne enjoy.
Cr Milne will remain on leave until the outcomes of voting in the Victorian Government Election.
