Local CFA members who volunteered to be part of a strike team to head to Queensland have been officially thanked in Victoria’s Parliament.
Member for Mildura JADE BENHAM says she wanted to recognize and thank the locals from the region. who joined other CFA members from District 20, battling blazes in Cairns over the weekend and earlier this week.
She says the CFA’s the backbone of rural communities, especially heading into the fire season.
