Authorities are investigating the death of a native wood duck after it was found shot with an arrow at the Mildura Marina.
The Conservation Regulator was called when wildlife rescuers were called to the marina on Saturday by a member of the public.
The bird died during an operation to remove the arrow.

Wood ducks are protected under Victoria’s wildlife act.
