Mallee researchers will benefit from ongoing funding of online library database Trove, according to Federal MP Anne Webster.
The Member for Mallee says many in the electorate use Trove to look up family history or conduct academic research as it’s the single point of entry to the collections of hundreds of Australian libraries, universities, museums, galleries and archives.
The Federal Government will provide 33-million dollars over four years for the database with indexed ongoing funding of nine point two million dollars per year.

Dr Webster says she’s been contacted by multiple constituents about the database and says she’s pleased to be able to deliver good news.
