A flood watch has been issued for the Murray River.
It’s in place downstream of Barham to Wentworth, with authorities saying minor flooding’s likely along the stretch of river.
The Murray at Wakool Junction’s currently at 8.39 meters and is rising, likely to exceed the minor flood level over the weekend or early next week.

Locals are being advised to monitor conditions and remain alert.
