A local woman says it’s insensitive that the man who attacked her has been released on parole on the fourth anniversary of the assault.
Kim O’Reilly has told the Sunraysia Daily that she’s devastated he was released from jail yesterday, four years into a six-year sentence.
But she’s hoping her current situation wouldn’t make others give up hope on standing up against violence.

Ms O’Reilly, who was an Australian of the Year finalist last year, also has an intervention order in place for the next 20 years.
