Dareton Primary Industries Institute is opening the gates to show the community what it is they do.
They will have tours, some citrus tasting and will give the community a chance to find out what they have done to contribute to local primary industries for the last 130 years.
Across NSW, more than 650 research staff operate on a combined land holding of 13,000 hectares over 28 sites, including three hatcheries.
These research stations play an important role in the economic and social fabric of their towns by providing jobs and conducting research that directly helps local primary industries businesses.
The local open day is being held Thursday 15 June, 9:30am – 12:00pm, 1998 Silver City Hwy, Dareton.
