Swan Hill Rural City Council has announced to locals that it’ll soon start up debt collection procedures after suspending it during COVID.
The council says it’ll ensure reliability and fairness in its processes, but understands some people may be suffering from financial hardship.
If that’s the case the council says it’ll make efforts for those people to enter payment arrangements.
