Darling River flooding update

The NSW SES is again urging people NOT to enter floodwaters around Pomona, Great Darling Anabranch and Burtundy.

Those in Pooncarie and surrounds are being asked to monitor local conditions as well.

Major flooding is occurring along the Darling River at Burtundy.

Minor flooding is occurring at Pooncarie.

The Darling River at Pooncarie is currently falling slowly, with minor flooding. The Darling River at Pooncarie may remain above the minor flood level until March.

The Darling River at Burtundy is currently falling slowly, with major flooding. The Darling River at Burtundy may remain above the major flood level over the next several days.
