Two ovals at Cullulleraine could be given official names.
Mildura councillors will vote tonight to endorse the naming of the individual ovals at Johansen Memorial Reserve.
If given the nod, they’ll be known at Mullroo Oval and Wallpolla Oval.

A report to council says the football netball clubs and The Victorian Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action have supported the proposal.
The report says the names are a tribute to the local parish names in the area, and it says individual names for ovals can help emergency services if they’re called.
