Coroner findings over motorcyclist death

A coroner has released her findings into the death of a motorcyclist in Mildura.

Irymple man Philip Pierson died in March 2020 when he lost control of a motorbike and hit a kerb.

The coroner found no pursuit was initiated, and while an unmarked police car activated its dashboard lights just before the crash, she couldn’t determine whether the 46-year-old was aware of a police presence.
