Claims of slashing future funding for roads

There are claims the Federal Government is slashing future funding for the Roads of Strategic Importance Program.

Member for Mallee Anne Webster says roads including the Calder Highway which connects Mildura to Melbourne and the Murray Valley Highway between Robinvale and Echuca will be impacted by the move.

She says farmers will struggle to get produce to port because of the cuts for maintenance and upgrades.
