Mildura Rural City Council says the upcoming Red Hot Summer Tour in the city is a big step towards the region’s events-led recovery from the floods.

The city says the timing of the festival, to be held in March, will help attract visitors to the region before the traditional busy Easter Period.

Organisers of the tour this week confirmed the event will be moved to the Mildura Recreation Reserve.

According to the promoter the change in venue is due to prolonged flooding of the Murray River, but everything else will remain the same, and tickets will be transferred to the new venue.

The show, which will be held on Sunday 5th March, was originally slated for Nowingi Place.

The Red Hot Summer Tour 2023 features Paul Kelly, Bernard Fanning, Missy Higgins, Mark Seymour, Vika & Linda and Ian Moss & Troy Cassar-Daley.
