Mildura’s La Trobe University have received funding from Cancer Council Victoria to look at supporting patients with a rare cancer living in rural and regional communities.
Researchers say there can be difficulties accessing treatment and tailer supportive care.
They say they want to design and develop peer-led online supportive care intervention with rural and regional patients in mind.
