Wentworth Councilors have agreed to spend $50,000 from next year’s budget towards an accommodation facility in Mildura, for patients undergoing Cancer treatment.
A report to the Shire says the Mildura Health Foundation project will see 10 self-contained apartments built for patients and their families.
It says it’ll benefit patients from areas including Pooncarie who won’t have to travel long distances each day.
