Over the past 7 days Police have responded to 7 fires across the Swan Hill Police Service Area.
There have been a variety of causes.
With the weather warming up again this week police are asking the public to please take care when operating machinery and call 000 if you see smoke or fire.
Below is a summary of the incidents attended:
Monday 13/2 house fire in Quambatook, cause under investigation.
Friday 10/2 grass fire in Happy Valley, cause likely a whipper snipper hitting metal.
Wednesday 8/2 grass fire Westby, cause likely a vehicle driven through long dry grass.
Wednesday 8/2 grass fire in Robinvale, cause unknown.
Wednesday 8/2 grass fire in Glenloth, cause unknown.
Tuesday 7/2 grass fire in Nyah West, likely cause hot lawn mower and dry grass.
Monday 6/2 small fire on footpath in Swan Hill, 2 youths interviewed.
Luckily no one was injured in these incidents.
