Pooncarie Catch a Carp Competition

The Pooncarie and District Development Association are excited to announce the 𝗣𝗢𝗢𝗡𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗜𝗘 𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗖𝗛 𝗔 𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗣 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗣𝗘𝗧𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡.

5th October 2024

Registrations open 9:30am – 3:00pm

Registrations at the Pooncarie Golf Club

Fishing spots: Pooncarie Multi Purpose Park, Pooncarie Bridge Free camp area, Free Camp area before town.

N.B at no point are registered participants allowed on privately owned land.

Fishing closes and Weigh in begins at 3:00pm. No fish will be accepted after 3:30pm.

Weigh-ins, presentations and afternoon/evening entertainment will be held at the Pooncarie Golf Club.

Pooncarie Golf Club will be running a licensed bar and BBQ dinner.

Community auction and raffle will be held in the evening.

Kids activities from 3:30pm at the Pooncarie Golf Club.

Free Face-painting from 3:30 – 5:00pm.

Remember please adhere to all NSW fishing and Maritime Laws in our waterways, failure to do so will result in automatic disqualification from competition.
