Patchewollock music Festival

16–18 October 2026

Like most good ideas, the beginnings of the Patchewollock Music Festival formed at the local bar, when one evening in September 2012 one bloke said to another “we need some live entertainment in this part of the world”.

Initially thought to be a one off celebration of the ‘Year of the Farmer’, the event was so successful it was subsequently decided to turn it into an annual event.

Get ready for a wonderful, family-friendly weekend packed with fabulous live music, market stalls, great company and plenty of delicious food!

2026 Artists

Sons Of Atticus

Sons Of Atticus are one of Australia’s rising alt country acts hailing from Northern NSW.

The Golden Guitar Award winning duo are known for blending gritty storytelling crossed with lyrical honesty, undeniable hooks and just having some good old-fashioned fun.

With new music constantly on the horizon and the festival stages calling, Sons Of Atticus are only getting warmed up.

Smoke Stack Rhino

With a band name that’s just one heavy animal away from the blues (think Howlin’ Wolf), Smoke Stack Rhino have been captivating audiences with their electrifying live performances and authentic brand of blues and roots rock.

Rory Phillips Trio

Rory Phillips has been electrifying audiences for years, blazing his way through solo shows and band stages alike as a talented singer/songwriter and guitar dynamo: the youngest-ever member of iconic Aussie band The Bushwackers, and regularly tours on guitars/BVs for ARIA-winner Sara Storer

Taylor Sheridan

It’s country music wrapped in soul. Completely self-produced and characterised by earthy acoustic tones and grounded storytelling, the album is Taylor’s most personal work to date.

“If I never get the chance to make another album,” he says, “I’m enormously proud that I got to make that one. If people ever wanted to know who I am as a person, that album is 100% who I am.”

Sun Bears

“They’re like a mentos mint shoved in a coke bottle, ready to explode in all the right ways!”, David Glover, President, Sydney Blues Society.

Leslie D. King

After taking time away from music to become a husband and father, Cobden-born singer-songwriter Leslie D. King returns with soul-soaked rock ’n’ roll, heartfelt storytelling and a debut album on the horizon.

Backed by The Trembling Shakes, his sound blends blues, roots and classic rock with raw emotion and grit.

Freya and Tom McGowan

We’re a daughter/dad duo from Ballarat who play our own contemporary folk songs with and a few country/folk covers.

As a 15 year old songwriter living in a regional area, Freya’s lyrics provide listeners with a glimpse into themes that are central to her experiences as an emerging artist.

Combined with Tom’s folk/country guitar work, their sound is a rich tapestry that reflects the broad range of artists that Freya has grown up listening to, especially Joni Mitchell, Kate Bush and Martha Tilston.

Blue Mallee

Blue Mallee are a multi folk duo fusing indie rock, ambient textures and traditional folk roots.

Known for evocative storytelling, roaring vocals and rhythmic energy, their shows blend humour, heart and cinematic soundscapes.

They’ve performed across NSW festivals and supported acts like The Black Sorrows, Ash Grunwald and Boo Seeka.

The Curry Mob

The Curry Mob are brother and sister country music duo Mika (13) & Blue (10) performing traditional country music well beyond their years.

Graduates of the Junior Academy of Country Music and winners of the 2025 Junior “Maccas Golden Gig” Talent Quest Mika and Blue travel Australia with their family, sharing heartfelt songs, honest storytelling, and a love of country music that has quickly won over audiences wherever they play.

Steve Patten

“Steve loves to play the songs that stir up the memories of our Boomer generation. Songs that rekindle those years when music influenced the lives of our current silver haired generation, the music of their youth.  Being born a Boomer, he is heavily influenced by the iconic artists of the 60’s and 70’s.  His covers include – The Beatles, American Soft Rock and The Mersey Beat, along with many one hit wonders that helped shape the mood that inspired generations of music lovers.”
