Pack The Brolly
If you were hoping winter might finally give us a break, we’ve got some bad news.
Millions of Aussies across NSW, Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania are facing a very wet few days as a large weather system moves across the southeast.
The Bureau of Meteorology says widespread rain is expected, with around 10 to 30mm possible across large parts of southeastern Australia.
And it’s not just rain we need to worry about.

Things Could Get Windy
Strong winds are also expected, particularly across Victoria, where gusts could reach up to 90km/h in some areas.
There are also flood warnings along parts of the Murray River, with already wet catchments expected to respond quickly to more rainfall.
For some farmers, the rain will be very welcome. But for areas that have already had plenty, it could be a case of enough is enough.
Sydney is also in for showers throughout the week, with temperatures sitting around 19 to 22 degrees.
So, if you’ve got plans over the next few days, maybe keep the umbrella handy.
Because it looks like winter isn’t quite finished with us yet.
