What is Laps for Locals?
Laps for Locals is a fundraising swimming event to raise funds for local causes.
Every dollar stays in the Northern Mallee and is shared with local Not For Profit organisations.
The challenge
1,000 laps
Counted poolside between 2:00–3:00pm.
The fundraising goal
$5,000
100% stays local and supports local not-for-profits.
This is about showing up, trying together, and supporting our own.
Following the swim challenge, we will hear from Brendan Cullen – The Desert Swimmer — farmer, endurance swimmer and author — as he shares his story of resilience, mental health and rural life.
