It’s time to return to Arrakis.
The Lisan al-Gaib is back for the epic conclusion of the Dune trilogy. Timothee Chalamet and Denis Villeneuve return for Dune: Part III. At the end of Part II, Paul siezed the Imperial Throne and began to rage his war against the other great houses across the galaxy. Dune: Part III, takes place 17-years after the conclusion of Part II. You can catch the trailer for Dune: Part III below.
Dune: Part III follows Muad’dib, heir to unimaginable power, as he brings to fruition the ancient scheme to create a superbeing ruler among men, not in the heavens.
Whilst the first two films told the story of the first book from Frank Herbert’s Dune series, with Dune: Part III we finally enter a new chapter and a new book. Dune: Part III will be based primarily on the second book in the Dune series, Dune Messiah.
Dune: Part III, the epic conclusion to the Dune trilogy is set to release later this year on the 18th of December. Why that date may sound familiar is that Avengers: Doomsday also releases on the same day. Who else is ready for the Dunesday memes to start rolling in?
