Mildura Film Society will be showing five films over three days November 7th to 9th as part of the Mildura Film Festival.
The films are an exciting mix of the best International and Australian directors and actors of recent times.

7:00pm But Also John Clarke
Explore the remarkable life and career of iconic satirist John Clarke in this compelling portrait by his daughter, writer and filmmaker Lorin Clarke.
Hear directly from Lorin as she shares reflection on her father’s legacy in a special feature of the event.
Saturday November 08
1.30 PM: FUTURE COUNCIL
Damon Gameau (2040, That Sugar Film) takes eight kids on the ultimate school excursion: a road trip across Europe to challenge powerful leaders and find solutions to our greatest ecological challenges. This is a coming-of-age journey that dares to imagine a brighter future.
7:00PM: KNEECAP
When fate brings a Belfast teacher into the orbit of self-confessed “lowlife scum” Naoise and Liam Óg, the needle drops on a hip-hop act like no other. Rapping in their native Irish language, they soon lead a movement to save their mother tongue.
Sunday November 09
1.30 PM: WILDING
Isabella Tree and her husband, Charlie Burrell, strive to breathe new life into the ailing Knepp estate. They reintroduce native ponies, deer, pigs, and other wildlife, allowing nature to thrive.
6.00 PM: SOUNDTRACK TO A COUP d’ÉTAT
Jazz and decolonization are entwined in this historical rollercoaster that rewrites the Cold War episode that led musicians Abbey Lincoln and Max Roach to crash the UN Security Council in protest against the murder of Patrice Lumumba.
