Locals around Mildura are being urged to start preparing for fire season, by putting together an emergency kit. Experts have suggested locals across the Mallee prepare a pack which includes a charged mobile phone and portable battery pack, as well as a battery-powered radio in case the power goes out. General Manager at N-B-N Local CHRIS CUSACK.. says all that equipment will ensure locals can stay connected in the event of an emergency.
