Mildura has one of the highest crime rates in the State according to the latest Crime Stats. The Crime Statistics Agency have revealed their latest data, collecting results in the twelve months to June which has Mildura fourth in the State for the amount of offences committed pre capita. There was close to six-thousand incidents recorded in the year, a rise of about 5% on the year before. Breaching family violence orders and thefts from cars the two highest recorded offences.
