Rural and Regional Australians needing specialist care may soon have Medicare funding taken away for their first Telehealth appointment.
It’s a draft recommendation to have patients seeing a specialist face to face for the first meeting, but Member for Mallee ANNE WEBSTER says that means travelling hundreds of kilometres for some people.
