There’s set to be some further outages and poor mobile reception for some local Telstra customers as the telco looks to upgrade the Mildura West phone towers.
Telstra has issued an apology in advance for the outages expected between this Sunday and Friday next week.
The telco is upgrading 3G and 4G sites and installing 5G technology.
This comes after reported network troubles this week with Telstra upgrading the Mildura East phone base station.
Works at the Mildura East site are expected to be completed by 5:00 this afternoon, with temporary disruptions expected tomorrow, before a return to full service on Saturday.
Any calls to triple zero will automatically be routed to any available mobile phone network.
Landline, NBN and mobile coverage from other providers will not be impacted.
