Swan Hill Rural City Council says the provision of housing is one of Australia’s most pressing issues, facing all levels of government.
The city made a presentation to a Victorian Parliamentary Inquiry into the rental and housing affordability crisis in the state.
The council says demand for housing continues to grow in areas including Robinvale with traditional and emerging industries expanding in the municipality.
