Around 40 CFA Captains are expected to join a rural contingent rallying in the capital today, angry at two transmission line projects through the region.
The VNI West and Western Renewable Link high voltage lines will cut through large areas of agricultural land.
North-West farmer Glenden Watts says there’s a number of concerns for local farmers including the inability for aircraft to fly over certain areas.

He says farmers haven’t been listened to by the State Government.
The rally at parliament house will also include tractors, prime-movers and utes.
