Toilets at the Merbein South Community Hall and Recreation Park could soon be open to the public at all times.
Mildura Councillor’s last week passed a motion to look at the feasibility of making the toilets available for those who need to answer the call of nature.
The toilets are only open when the hall’s open, with no other public facilities in the township and the closest toilet several kilometers out of town on the Sturt Highway.
