Mildura councillors will consider the benefits of having a public toilet in South Merbein.
A motion is being put to tomorrow’s council meeting recommending staff prepare a report looking at the costings and benefits of a public toilet in the area.
The motion says there are not public toilets in South Merbein apart from a facility several kilometres out of town, while toilets at the old South Merbein school grounds are closed to the public.
The motion says there are concerns of health issues for those using the grounds near the closed facilities.
