A local group is hoping some of the money promised for social and affording housing in Victoria will be spent in the Mallee.
Mallee Accommodation and Support Program has welcomed the Victorian State Government’s one-billion dollar pledge for regional housing, saying the announcement to deliver 13-hundred homes across the regions is a significant step.
It says the Mallee region is dealing with an increasing housing crisis with demand for homes reaching unprecedented levels.
