Silent Sunday - Footy League
On the Neil Mitchell morning show yesterday, they were talking about a junior football league who is cracking down on pushy parents.
The league, Eastern Football League based in Melbourne have introduced “Silent Sundays” where shouting, talking to the officials and coaching from the sidelines are banned.
Respectful clapping and cheering after a goal is allowed.
The reason is because of parents getting a little too involved with language that would be classed as inappropriate.
Is this fair enough or not?
