Power tools targeted, lock them up
Riverland Police are investigating two recent break-ins were thieves targeted power tools.
Sometime between 12pm and 2pm on Tuesday 14 September, a residence on Zante Road, Berri was entered and Ozito power tools including battery drills were stolen.
Then sometime between 4pm on 14 September and 6.50am the following morning, a shed on Marrara Street, Renmark was broken into. Several power tools including a chainsaw, a blower vac, a Milwaukee impact driver and a whipper snipper were stolen.
Riverland Police are reminding the public to lock and secure their valuables and report any suspicious activity at the time by calling the Police Assistance on 131444.
