Man missing in Murray

A search will resume this morning after a fisherman fell into the Murray River overnight.

Around 7.30  last night police have been told a 31-year-old man was fishing with friends when he slipped and fell into the Murray River, near Euston.

Officers from Barrier Police District, along with other emergency services agencies, commenced a search of the waterway.

The search was postponed due to unfavourable conditions and is expected to resume, with assistance from the Police Divers, at 7am today.
