A Walpeup Woman accused of murdering her husband has told a court she wanted a break.
REBECCA PAYNE’s pleaded not guilty to murder but has admitted to manslaughter over the 2020 death of husband NOEL.
The Sunraysia Daily says the 43-year-old told her Supreme Court trial she panicked when she realised she’d accidentally killed him after lacing a biscuit with sleeping tablets and hid his body in the back of their property.
