An elderly couple have been lucky to escape injury after a truck
smashed into their Buronga home.
The b-triple collided with the house on Hendy Road, after rolling
downhill across the Sturt Highway around six o’clock yesterday morning.
It’s understood no one was behind the wheel of the truck at the time
which was at a service station before the crash.
The 85 and 75-year-old residents of the home were fortunately not
injured, although the house has been badly damaged as a result.
