Local drivers and road users are again being reminded to stay calm and move safely out of the way when ambulances are respondingg to emergencies.
Ambulance Victoria says it’s important for drivers to remain composed and aware of their surroundings including seeing emergency vehicles with their lights on.
But the emergency service says its paramedics are also trained to navigate congestions, finding the best and safest routes to an emergency.

It comes as figures show more than 76% of Mildura Paramedics were called to Code One emergencies in the December quarter.
