Member for Mildura, Jade Benham says Labor has lost control of crime, leaving families, businesses, and communities vulnerable.

“I am out in the community. I speak to locals.  I speak to Police Officers, and they say the same thing – they are frustrated. The justice system is letting them down, and our communities feel less safe. We deserve to feel safe in own community.”

“Victoria is in the grip of a crime crisis. After denying for years that a problem exists, the government has finally acknowledged the need to act but the new bail laws are a knee-jerk reaction. We need to get tougher on crime.”
