No TFB today but local brigades on alert

With fire restrictions still in place across Mildura and Swan Hill, the CFA is worried at the number of fire-related offences across Victoria.

Data has revealed there were more than one-thousand incidents of lighting a fire during the Fire Danger Period in Victoria over the last five years, with 187 cases of a fire being lit on a Total Fire Ban day.

There is no total fire ban in the Mallee today, but local firies will be on alert today with Mildura tipped to hit 37 before an afternoon cool change.
