Mildura Police have taken to social media to welcome a new officer to the region.
They introduced Constable Phoenix Quick, assuring the area that yes, that is her real name.
Moving into the Glen Waverley Academy halls from Ballarat, Phoenix’s reason behind joining Victoria Police was to help those ‘more vulnerable than herself’.

Now that she’s had time to reflect on her Academy experience, like many others, Phoenix’s highlight was the firearms training, and the friendships made.
With hopes of moving back home to Ballarat someday, Phoenix has instead taken a spot up the road in Mildura, where she looks forward to the challenges country policing presents.
