Murray Valley Encaphilitis

MILDURA RURAL CITY COUNCIL continues to detect MURRAY VALLEY

ENCEPHALITIS in the region and is again urging locals to be aware and

avoid infection.

The virus is transmitted through mozzie bites and COUNCIL’S continued

to see more infection at the  ETIWANDA WETLANDS in the past week.

Locals are reminded that covering up and avoiding mozzie bites is the

best way to avoid infection
